Myanmar is a fascinating, enigmatic and culturally rich country, filled with history dating back to the 12th Century. The country is a living documentary with its old-world spiritual charm. Shadowed in military control for over 50 years, the country is still a stranger to many. But newfound political freedom has brought a surge in tourism to this once isolated country. The glittering golden stupas, bountiful rice fields, mysterious ruined temples, picturesque mountain paths, smiling faces painted with thanaka, iconic fisherman, innocent little monks and nuns fascinates me as a travel photographer.
