As a humanitarian photographer, I always love documenting touching and compelling social and human stories faced by communities globally. I have captured stories about natural disasters, health, education, livelihood, disability and climate crisis to help organisations raise awareness and develop convincing advocacy material and fundraising. I work closely with the affected communities with dignity and provide opportunities to tell their stories, thereby creating gripping and thought-provoking images and videos. With Malaria No More (www.malarianomore.org ), I went to the remote villages in Koraput, Orissa, to chronicle their effort to make a world where no one dies from a mosquito bite and provide the needed boost in mobilising the political commitment, funding and innovation required to achieve what would be one of the most significant humanitarian accomplishments – ending malaria within our generation.
